Gingiva Trimmer is a ceramic instrument for gum treatment that can be used as an alternative and in addition to electrosurgery and the scalpel.
The biocompatible ceramic working part ensures coagulation, reduces the tendency to bleed and separates the tissue.
It is used for
* modeling the gingiva
* the expansion of the sulcus for impressions
* the removal of interradicular granulation tissue
* the exposure of deep cavities
* the removal of gum hyperplasia / papillectomy
* the exposure of intraosseous implants and retained teeth
Use the instrument at an angle of 45 °.
The incision is made approx. 3-4 times slower than the usual work movement with preparation diamonds.
Repeated application and pulling through the operating area in one operation can jeopardize the success of the treatment!
After a short time, the gingiva trimmer can be guided again for additional coagulation.
